Euro Air partner LGM recently finished a fabric duct installation at Our Tampines Hub, a sports hall in Singapore.
Phase 1 was completed on 27th November 2016 and consists of sports facilities, a regional library, a community club, a hawker centre and retail shops. The sports hall was particularly challenging to design, as it needed to accommodate numerous functions with very different ACMV requirements.
LGM was approached by the M&E consultant, AECOM to see how we could help to deliver this project. After discussing several design proposals, fabric ducting was the only option that met and exceeded all of the requirements.
Working closely with the ACMV contractor, Trans Equatorial Engineering, allowed LGM to complete the project with zero complaints and ahead of schedule.
Compared to conventional steel ducting the Euro Air fabric system was able to achieve better comfort, lower noise levels and faster installation. Our latest fabric material is also approved for use by SCDF meeting all fire safety requirements.
Our Tampines Hub is just one of many sports halls completed by LGM using Euro Air fabric ducting over the past 5 years.
