How often is textile ducting servicing required?
The frequency of maintenance of textile duct depends on the environment in which they are installed, the ratio between the supplied fresh and recuperated air and also the type of filter in the unit.
Permeable systems
Permeable textile vents only allow air to be supplied by their surface, which means they are easier to pollute. Usually the frequency of cleaning depends on the environment:
- Humid environments with the possibility of microorganisms (bakeries, cheese factories) may require up to 20 washings per year.
- Ordinary business premises or offices usually need 1 cycle per year
Impermeable and hybrid systems
These systems also supply air through perforations or nozzles, which reduces dust settling directly in the fabric. Therefore, the need for maintenance is individual and depends on the level of environmental pollution.
