The ice speed skating track in Aomori, Japan, places exceptional demands on HVAC systems, both the quality and stability of the indoor climate have a direct impact on the condition of the ice surface as well as on the comfort and performance of the athletes.
Euro Air textile ducting is suspended on a single row of Flexrail tracks and made of impermeable DFC-0 material, which was specially colored in yellow RAL 1028 for this project. Air is supplied exclusively through nozzles with a diameter of 18 mm, allowing precise and targeted direction of the airflow. This enables highly accurate air distribution control without unwanted air currents that could disrupt ice quality or interfere with the athletes during performance.
