For the Balclutha pool complex, we manufactured an air-handling solution that performs well in a demanding and humid environment while ensuring comfort for visitors.
The project utilizes textile diffusers made of DFC-HT material in various permeability levels, allowing air distribution to be tailored to the specific requirements of different areas of the pool. DFC-HT is a polyester material made from high-tenacity fibers, woven in a plain weave, known for its high durability and versatile use, including demanding operations and environments with strict hygiene requirements. The dark blue finish (RAL 5002) visually complements the character of the pool environment.
Air distribution is ensured by DFC perforation in the Induction variant, which enables efficient air mixing even in larger volumes without creating drafts. In pool environments, not only a comfortable temperature but also proper air circulation is essential, textile air distribution helps to reduce humidity, prevent condensation, and resist corrosion, which is a key advantage compared to metal systems.
